Fashion is a serious business. The AMFI-Amsterdam Fashion Institute sees it as its responsibility to train professionals who can combine realism with technical insight, a creative and innovative attitude, and an instinct for what’s round the corner. AMFI offers students a solid foundation for a successful career in the fascinating world of fashion.

With its three degree specialisations – Fashion & Branding, Fashion & Design, and Fashion & Management – AMFI covers the entire fashion industry chain. Independent Designer, Brand Engineer, and Production Manager are just three of the many job titles in the fashion world which AMFI graduates can carry. All AMFI programmes have English-language versions, the International Courses; this gives the institute a distinctly international character, which helps to prepare all its students for the international context in which they will soon be working.

Work placements in the Netherlands and abroad, study exchanges, international excursions, guest lecturers and in-company projects make up a varied study programme that gives students the opportunity to prepare as fully as possible for professional life.
